El Tour De Tucson

Background:
El Tour de Tucson (El Tour) is a recreational cycling event attracting more than 9,000 individuals from across the nation and beyond. Komen SAZ has set a “Riders for the Cure” registration goal of 55 individuals for our in El Tour de Tucson. Participants may ride 42, 60, 82 or 111 miles or choose the fun ride. Tour Training Series:
Each weekend at 5:30am - Riders for the Cure are coached by local bike pros to ramp up mileage on group rides. Monthly workshops will give Riders advice on: proper equipment; bike maintenance & repair, training strategies; and nutrition. Training sessions begin TBA, and will continue through TBA. Meeting locations vary depending on the route--please check our FB page on Friday mornings for the weekend schedule
November 23rd: Whether riding or not, there will be a host of things to do on the big day: visit exhibitor booths, try out tasty food and enjoy the live entertainment.

Registration and fundraising:
Your entry fee covers the cost of event expenses ($120). Donations help meet our community’s needs for early detection and treatment of breast cancer. All Riders for the Cure are entitled to our weekly training series and incentive items as noted: Click here for fillable RFTC 2013 Application
- $120–Basic Riders for the Cure entry
- $500–Riders for the Cure - Assists with Diagnostics (Entry plus earns a custom Riders for the Cure cycling jersey)
- $1000–Riders for the Cure - Assists with Treatment (Entry plus earns an El Tour Conquistador statue (custom-made by Bisbee artist) or Riders for the Cure messenger bag
